You
Can't Knock Wahida's Hustle!!!!

Wahida Clark is back with a banger!!! All Wahida's
fans know that Payback is a Mutha was originally
titled Don't Knock The Hustle but it's release
took so long that another author utilized that
title. But please believe that even with a different
title Payback is still All That!!!!
Payback
follows two best friends Brianna and Shan whose
attitudes on life are totally different. Both
women are dime pieces but Brianna manipulates
men to get ahead while Shan would rather earn
an honest living. Through it all their friendship
remain strong until one of Brianna's hustles
places both girl's backs up against the wall.
Brianna's
trickery causes a domino effect that not even
she can withstand, forcing Shan to become a
player in a game she usually watched from the
side lines. While Brianna finally sees the wrong
in her actions but not before having to deal
with Payback in it's most brutal form.
Payback
is a Mutha is full of deceit, treachery, sex,
murder and mayhem and is sure to place Ms. Clark
back on The Essence Best Seller's List where
she belongs!!!
Karma
is a mutha too!!!

This
was my first book by the author and I was skeptical
at first. That all ended once she introduced
the many players in this urban drama. The main
characters are Brianna "B" and Shan
- and both are as different as night and day.
B stays fly and with weaves and designer gear
by "playin' the playa's". While Shan
earns her living the honest way - with a j-o-b.
However, when B plays the wrong playa in an
attempt to get some "payback" innocent
bystanders get "caught up" and the
lives of those close to her are held in the
balance. Is it too late for B to make things
right???
Also
on hand are a bevy of characters - Shadee, Forever,
Nyla, Peanut (Shan's brother), Skye, Zeke -
and their backstories and you've got a drama
packed with drama, drama and more drama.
Take
a trip and read this tale of payback and karma.
I literally could not put this book down - I
was reading every spare moment I could.
Kudos
to the auther for weaving a most enjoyable tale...granted
there were many "players" in this
story and they were hard to keep up with. However
I commend the author for mixing all of the characters
- and their drama - into tightly knit tale!!!
I
look forward to reading more books from this
author....
OFF
DA HOOK

This
was an excellent book! The characters were as
gritty and grimey as they could be. And Real!
There are so many brothas living on the low
like shadee I wanted to whoop his A**. And so
many women like Brianna that think they are
playas and only getting played. So many women
like Shan who get so jammed up with life's situations
that if they do think about the consequences
of their actions it just a passing thought.
I was glad that Brianna for once thought of
someone other than herself. The book kept me
on the edge every moment and I finished it in
one day! Keep doing what you doing Wahida from
a fellow Trentonian!!!!!
